My introduction

I started my quest off with Agnostic beliefs which is, the view that the existence or non-existence of any deity is unknown and possibly unknowable. Agnosticism is the view that certain claims especially claims about the existence or non-existence of any deity or god as well as other religious and metaphysical claims are unknown and (so far as can be judged) unknowable. Agnosticism can be defined in various ways, and is sometimes used to indicate doubt or a skeptical approach to questions. In some senses, agnosticism is a stance about the difference between  belief and knowledge , rather than about any specific claim or belief. In the popular sense, an agnostic is someone who neither believes nor disbelieves in the existence of a deity or deities,  In the strict sense, however, agnosticism is the view that humanity does not currently possess the requisite knowledge and/or reason to provide sufficient rational grounds to justify the belief that deities either do or do not exist.

After years and Years of Spiritual exploration my views have changed, I may not have physical or scientific  proof that the Metaphysical world exists but I have my own experiences which validate my own reality. Now, I identify with Mysticism.

A  Mystic is a person which believes in the pursuit of communion with, identity with, or conscious awareness of an ultimate reality, divinity, spiritual truth, Source or God through direct experience, intuition, instinct or insight. Mysticism usually centers on practices intended to nurture those experiences. Mysticism may be dualistic,  maintaining a distinction between the self and the divine, or may be nondualistic. Mysticism can be distinguished from ordinary religious belief by its emphasis on the direct personal experience of unique states of consciousness, particularly those of a transcendentally blissful character.

Yup, I am blissed out!

I could go on and on trying to fit myself into a nice little box, trying to categorize my spiritual beliefs, But I wont.  That’s not the point.  The definitions I gave above are just very rough outlines, just to give you an idea.  I try to leave my beliefs open. Once you truly believe in one thing, then your mind closes off to other ideas and options. I want to be ever evolving, and open minded.  Though, I entertain certain ideas and beliefs I know that the possibilities are infinite and they could all possibly be true……….or false.

My favorite Beetle says in nicely.

I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right. It’s just that the translations have gone wrong.”
― John Lennon

And Mr.Einstein.

My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.
― Albert Einstein

This next one is one of my favorites.

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
― Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Now that we got that out of the way, I want to give you some more personal details about myself and what kind of stuff you can expect to come out of my mind and spill all over the pages of this blog.

I am a 30-something  American white female. I am an extreme information junkie, and I come across all kinds of amazing stuff that I want to share with  people that have some of the same interests as me. I have been a sponge for so many years seeking knowledge and absorbing it.             I have so many things that I want to share on this blog, I am not even sure where to start! But I thought it would be a good time to give back, and share some of  the awesome things I have come across on my journey. Be they Ideas, Thoughts, Beliefs, Experiences, concepts, Arts or whatever. To some people my interests and ideas can be on the fringe side, But that’s the stuff that excites me and the stuff I want to share.

Things like Consciousness, Psychedelics, Science, Shamanism, Occultism, Religions, New age mumbo jumbo, Art, Visionary Art, Culture, Mysticism, Technology, Interesting  people, Books, Videos and Music. I am sure  many, many more I am forgetting about.

This is the first time I have ever wrote for a public audience, Not quite sure what I am doing yet, So bare with me.                                                                 If you have found yourself  HERE, NOW, reading this Let me know what you think, leave a comment or message for me. It doesn’t matter if you love it, hate it, are confused by it, or want more.    Knowing that people are actually reading it will encourage me to write more. Thanks!

Will end with one of my favorite all time quotes.

No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride… and if it occasionally gets a little heavier than what you had in mind, well… maybe chalk it off to forced conscious expansion: Tune in, freak out, get beaten.
